The details of how your IT executes an installation for all employees will depend on the tools and solutions currently used to perform this kind of activity.
The general approach is to place the .EXE file in a single, centrally available location, or to make it available on each employee’s machine. After updating the corresponding Windows batch script to reflect the final location of the .EXE file, the batch script may be run for each employee. Doing so will execute Outlook Agent’s install process. The next time employees open Outlook, Outlook Agent will create a local configuration file, and the updating process will begin.
Every IT environment is unique, and Sigstr can work with your IT department and provide suggestions on the best way to execute automated Agent installs.
If you would like to implement Outlook Agent, please see additional information on System Requirements.
