How your IT organization deploys software will depend on the tools and solutions currently used to perform this kind of activity.
Every IT environment is unique, and Sigstr partners with your IT department to provide suggestions on the best way to execute centralized Agent deployments.
We frequently see customers have success using deployment tools like System Center Config Manager (SCCM), Group Policy (GPO), InTune, KACE, and JAMF.
The Windows Outlook Agent can be installed via an EXE or one of two MSI installers.
If MSI installers are being used, they must be deployed individually, and only to machines with the matching bit version of MS Office (not Windows).
For example: If a machine is running 32-Bit MS Office, only our 32-bit MSI installer should be run there.
The EXE package we provide does detection to figure out what this version is and runs the appropriate installer
Sigstr can be deployed for Outlook for Mac 2016, using tools like JAMF. Sigstr provides a pre-packaged PKG installer file to facilitate this.
If you would like to implement Outlook Agent, please see additional information on System Requirements.
